I’m a theatre artist, living in Minneapolis. I’ve worked around town since the early 90s as an actor, director, writer/adapter, and producer. I’ve worked on small stages, large stages, sets for videos, commercials and films. Sometimes I’ve dabbled in making videos for productions or promotions.

My experience and training range from classical texts and plays to absurdism, devised and original pieces. I’ve a deep interest in realism (ie history and true stories), whether that’s told through a good “kitchen-sink drama” or stylistically and effectively through powerful tools like expressionism.

I believe theatre is the most powerful of art forms, because it combines all elements of the arts, and is a unique live experience, for a unique gathering of individuals, for each and every performance.

Intermission:

I’ve always known my work as a theatre artist would have its highlights, its struggles and its slow times. I’d have never thought that a pandemic would bring live theatre and public gatherings to a screeching halt, and that houses across the country would go dark for months or even years. Read more….
